Personal Profile
I am a specialist in hands on development and project management of deploying ERP, business planning, forecasting systems in both European and worldwide environments. I have mainly concentrated on development of these systems covering the full life cycle from Project management, requirement gathering, scoping, design, prototyping, development, client approval, UAT, implementation, training, support and documentation, operating in worldwide platforms.
Prior to this I spent 12 years working my way up through most area of accounting and finance related IT (This culminating in 7 years working as a financial controller in fast moving retail environments) to develop the skill base required to be able to carry out the consultancy I role I now take on.
During this time, I also gained skills in the following, being part of a board and reporting to board member, staff management of up to 19 people at one time. Qualified accountant Charted Institute of Management Accountancy (CIMA), and BA (Hons) Accountancy.
Key Competencies
Full life cycle development of Budgeting planning and forecasting systems - Proven track record of creating successful systems in complex and varied environments. (Covering from requirement gathering design, prototyping, development, client approval, UAT, implementation, training and support). Using most versions of Cognos planning up to and including 10.1.
Finance - Extensive experience in most areas of finance, accounting and related systems.
Adaptability - ability to work within most environments from defence to fashion and corporate banking as well as social housing.
