Along with 15 years of experience in IBM, I developed strong technical skills in software and systems development, supported by customer insight and leadership.
Having the responsibility to develop and support several IBM Tivoli products in the System Management and Enterprise Job Scheduling area, I've been able to get deep experience in different architectures, technologies and programming languages: from graphical user interfaces to back-end applications, from embedded C/C++ programming to J2EE and SOA integration.
During these years, I've experienced different development processes and methodologies, from traditional waterfall and iterative (RUP) to Agile and Lean practices (Scrum, XP, Kanban).
I worked in several teams, often geographically distributed, assuming different types of roles, as developer and technical leader.
After 11 years in IBM Tivoli I joined IBM Rational as technical pre-sales and, since then, I’ve been working side-by-side with customers in the Systems and Software Engineering area, with special focus in Modeling (System and Software), Change & Configuration and Requirements Engineering disciplines. In this position, I’ve been able to enhance my experience in Model-Based System Engineering and Model-Driven Software Development for real-time and safety critical Systems in the Aerospace & Defense and Automotive sectors.
Recently, after 4 years in Rational, I joined the new IBM Cloud division, with special focus on IBM Bluemix (Cloud Foundry PaaS, Docker and Open Stack), DevOps and Internet of Things.
