I started using Linux installing RedHat version 6.0. It soon became my primary interest. After that I followed the RedHat Fedora path.
I'm very familiar with CentOS and RHEL.
I'm actively using OpenSuSe and SLES.
I'm a Red Hat certified engeneer (RHCE), Red Hat Certified Virtualization Administrator (RHCVA), a Red Hat Certified Instructor (RHCI), a Red Hat Certified Examiner (RHCX), a Red Hat Certified Datacenter Specialist (RHCDS) and a Red Hat Certified Arhitect (RHCA).
Red Hat certificates of expertise: EX436 Red Hat Enterprise Storage Management, EX318 Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization, EX401 Deployment and Systems Management, EX210 Red Hat Certified System Administrator in Red Hat OpenStack and EX236 Red Hat Certificate of Expertise in Hybrid Cloud Storage.
On both sides (Oracle and MySQL) I'm confident on all common DBA tasks, that is: installing database software; sizing and creating databases; defining, creating maintaining database tables and other objects, doing optimization on statement, table and database level; backup and recovery; replication and synchronization; security and more.
