Summary

We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled PLC Specialist to join our client located in the Czech Republic. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of our automated systems. The successful candidate will be involved in the development, implementation, and maintenance of PLC systems that are critical to our manufacturing and production processes.

Job Type: Full-time, client is open for employment or freelance contract

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement PLC programs to meet the needs of our operations.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain existing PLC systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PLC systems with existing manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct regular system audits to identify and rectify potential issues before they impact production.
  • Provide technical support and training to maintenance and operations staff on PLC systems and applications.
  • Keep abreast of advancements in PLC technology and make recommendations for system upgrades as necessary.
  • Document all work performed, including system changes, modifications, and upgrades.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proven experience as a PLC Specialist, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong proficiency in PLC programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, or Function Block Diagram.
  • Experience with PLC brands such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Mitsubishi.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Familiarity with HMI development and SCADA systems is a plus.
  • Fluent in Czech and proficient in English, both written and verbal.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the Czech Republic.
