We are seeking Splunk Consultants for employment/freelance/IT company contract role in Frankfurt area, Germany. Our client is an international advisory corporation offering great opportunity for your growth and work on international projects.

You will provide overall consultancy, engineering and design support for a very large distributed state of the art Splunk environment.

Location: Frankfurt; on-site at least 4 days a week

Contract type: Employment/Freelance/IT company contract,EU work permint is a must;

Duration: 9+ months (April to December 2019)

  • Configure Splunk components (i.e., indexers, clustering, universal forwarders, etc.)
  • End-to-End Technical mentorship between technology add-ons and knowledge objects
  • Knowledge of PCI and SOX guidelines and standards
  • Tier 3 support for all Splunk Admins and End Users

Role specific requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent years of industry experience.
  • Deep understanding of Splunk Architecture and related technologies.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, SQL, soap, XML, json, and rest technologies.
  • Deep understanding integration concepts, methodologies, and technologies.
  • Experience in serving as the technical advisor with a major software deployment initiative preferred.
  • Experience in translating customer business requirements into workable technical solutions, either as a software solution or a re-engineering initiative.
  • Excellent Analytical and critical thinking skills. High attention to detail is needed.
  • Ability to explain complex systems and technical topics in a clear, concise manner to others who may have minimal technical knowledge using oral, written and visual presentations.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and highly-matrixed organization requiring skills in critical thinking, influencing, and running multiple priorities
  • Willingness to travel.
