We are seeking Performance Test Engineer for freelance or employment contract on project in Germany.

Our customer is one of the global leading independent Security teams providing their customers with security assessments, strategy and design, security operations centres and long-term advisory partnerships.

You will be working with the development team in an Agile / Scrum environment carrying out performance, load, integration, system and / or user acceptance testing. You will play a key part in the delivery of a number of technically challenging and complex projects as an Automation Tester.

Location: Frankfurt, Germany

Language requirements: English or German language on professional level is a must.

Contract type: Freelance or full time employment, - EU / German work permit is a must.

Seniority: Senior or practitioner specialists are welcome to apply.

Your responsibilities:

  • Writing Test Scripts
  • Running automated and manual tests for feature branches within a test environment.
  • Experience in setting up a performance test tools (e.g. HPLoadRunner).
  • Maintaining regression tests for each system developed by the team.
  • Creation of Test Result reports after each sprint.
  • Analysing functional specifications to produce suitable test plans and reports, including both manual and automated test scripts.
  • Create, maintain, revise and review test suites and enter them into the test repository.
  • Liaising with configuration management, project managers, developers and third parties to bridge the gap between technical and business partners.

Role specific requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or the equivalent in experience or evidence of exceptional ability.
  • Experience successfully delivering complex and high risk projects using a broad range of test techniques/principles (Integrated or functional).
  • Experience of using automated tooling (e.g. HPLoadRunner, Selenium, SonarQube, Jmeter, Gatling).
  • Software development exposure, ideally with .Net and Java.
  • Good technical understanding of both Windows and Linux.
  • Co-Coordinating activities across the teams, crafting test scripts and automating test processes.
  • Willingness to travel.
