We are seeking Google Cloud Platform developer/consultant for remote freelance/IT company contract based in Germany. Our client is an international Advisory corporation offering great opportunities on international assignments.

For the first month (February 2019) you need to be onsite in Germany for an initial training and project kick off. After that you can work 100% remotely.

Location: remote, Germany;

Contract type: freelance/IT company contract, EU work permint is a must;

Start date: February 2019;

Language requirements: English required, German advantage;

Seniority: Junior or practitioner;

Your responsibilities:

  • Development of Google Cloud Platform (first user experience may be sufficient to start).
  • Implement customer requirements, including quality management/testing, documentation creation and release management support.
  • Work with Functional Teams interprets business requirements to develop the solutions.
  • Deliver high quality code with correct code structure, high level of readability, low number of defects.
  • Update documentation according to implementation.
  • Develop and keep knowledge of specific platforms, actively come with new ideas and optimizations, actively participate in changes.
  • Building, managing and sustaining meaningful and mutually beneficial relationships with users, stakeholders and partners.

Role specific requirements

  • Experience with Solar, Hbase and Hive is an advantage.
  • Very good communication skills, analytical thinking, focus on detail.
  • Ability to algorithmize requirements and tasks.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • Self-motivation and drive to work under tight deadlines.
