We are seeking Data Analysis & Data Science Leader for managerial role in Prague, Czech Republic.

Our client is an international Advisory corporation and your primary role will be to lead team of Data Analysts & Scientists and closely cooperate with internal Sales Department on new leads.

Your responsibilities:

  • Work with clients to understand key business challenges, formulate business problems.
  • Use data mining, machine learning and other tools to design and develop recommendation engines, predictive models, scoring algorithms and other data products, which drive user segmentation, engagement, retention, and monetization.
  • Represent your team and company at client meetings with a goal of increasing face time with key executives and decision makers. Leads proposal and statement of work (SOW) development including defining business objectives, solution approach, scope, deliverables, client responsibilities, staffing roles, pricing, and risk mitigation.
  • Build client relationship by understanding client business and propose analytical solution to institutionalize Analytics across Client organization.
  • Leverage ideas across clients and domains to spot opportunities and generate revenue and engagement.
  • Provide complex metrics and reporting support to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Play a key role in client management, leading and mentoring project teams, and working with the executive team on new initiatives and business development.
  • Coach, manage and develop the Analytics team to maximize performance, business impact and results.

Role specific requirements:

  • 6 – 12 years of relevant experience as Data Scientist, Data Analyst or Researcher.
  • University degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Statistics or equivalent.
  • Intermediate to Advanced expertise with statistical modelling tools such as R, SAS, SPSS or equivalents.
  • Possess strong analytical / logical thinking skills and clarity of thought.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and present to senior leadership/executives.
  • Enable and demonstrate innovative thinking and inspire innovative action.
  • Leverage communication to inspire others. Exhibit a commitment to being a team player with a flexible “can do” attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate the knowledge, skills and abilities concerning global business fundamentals, business models, ethics, competitive analysis and cross-cultural/geographical sensitivities.
