Your responsibilities:

  • Explain to risk owners and other stakeholders the causes, likelihood and potential business impacts of information risks throughout the information system lifecycle.
  • Identify and present options for treating or transferring information risks.
  • Develop or review new security architectures that mitigate the risks posed by new technologies and business practices.
  • Deliver complex, enterprise scale solutions to a range of large scale clients.
  • Provide consultancy to customers on information assurance and architectural problems.
  • Scope security testing activities, and explain the results and required remediation.
  • Conduct security monitoring and investigating security incidents.
  • Communicate findings and strategy effectively to client stakeholders, including technical staff or executive leadership.

Role specific requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or the equivalent in experience or evidence of exceptional ability.
  • Experience in delivering security analysis/engineering or consultancy in some of the mentioned technology areas (SIEM, IAM, PKI, DNS, NTP).
  • Passion for IT Security and experience in implementing tools and controls within a commercial environment
  • Understands the fundamentals of IT Security good practice
  • Understanding of cryptographic principles
  • Strong technical, analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
